Project Background

LYNK&CO is a automotive company that is a subsidiary of GEELY, a multinational auto manufacturing company headquartered in China. Founded in 2016, LYNK&CO is a brand that is focused on the automobile’s internet connectivity and innovative purchasing models for easier acquisition.

This Event was aimed to present electric motor vehicle platform and Zero concept car for the first time. Maintaining existing brand image of innovation, our design focused on emphasizing the distinct characteristics of electric motor vehicle platform. Every experience process including the launching event was broadcasted on both on-line and off-line. Avoiding unilateral information transfer, our design aimed to let attendees enjoy interactions within one Future City themed space and acquire brand information.

Our Solution

Our design concept presents a city that evolves in real-time, using S.E.A(Sustainable Experience Architecture), a variable electric platform’s key characteristics, so it can match up to Lynk&co’s existing concept—a brand new type of urban transportation. It was not only a mere visual representation. 4-sided Elevating LED Cube in the middle of stage was designed for considering the shape and perspective of the stand to demonstrate interactions within a real city as an outlook on the world; clusters of motions are seen as a vibrant city at the stand. Floor LED (3,000mmL*5,000mmH) and 3 LEDs(9,000mmL*3,500mmH) including main screen were designed to be lifted up to make an impressive spatial effect, Attendees could experience a vibrant future city even at the seats. To keep up with the worldview and enhance the density of user experience, Lynk&co’s global signature models were casted and positioned in experiential space. All 12 models wore different costumes specially designed in line with the future-oriented concept. When S.E.A platform was unveiling, all the hidden AV equipment including lifting transparent projection, 4-side LED, laser effect was interacting each other to make special effect and the last platform appeared. Main LED was placed at eye level, attendees can freely go down to the stage and watch the platform closely after the unveiling event. We designed every aspect of launching event, from every single interaction to after party, to share Lynk&co’s brand core value of innovation and technology.
